Introduction
In this guide, I will be aiming to write a clear guide to using melanotan and tanning for people who are PALE. If you are already dark or brown you should be aiming to lighten your complexion, so this guide is not for you.
Why tan?
For the palecels of the forum, this is one area that can increase your sex appeal massively and relatively quickly and cheaply. There is research that shows that the more tanned someone is the more attractive they are, (Broadstock, Borland, & Gason, 1992). Participants indicated that models with a medium level tan appeared most attractive and healthiest, with those who had no tan appearing least attractive and healthy. Males preferred darker tans more than women.
Also to be noted, the reason that bodybuilders tan is because it increases contrast and enhances how lean you appear (this is beneficial facially and for your physique as a looksmaxxer), and most anecdotally of all: I would argue that a tan indicates good health as it indicates your are not sickly with some illness, it indicates that you get ample vitamin d and lead a healthy life ( aka out in nature, not bed bound etc) , and it also creates a level of high status due to the inferred travelled look that it brings. To conclude it is simple, affordable and something everyone can do to quickly boost their looks if they are a pale person. So in answer to why tan? Why not?
Why Melanotan?
As discussed above there are plenty of reasons to consider tanning as it is simply one of the more easy and immediate looksmaxxes that one can achieve, melanotan is necessary in our opinion and we will highlight why here:
- Speeding up the tanning process, in turn means less exposure to UV and less risk of skin aging or melanoma.
- Prevention of a number of skin diseases induced by harmful ultraviolet rays
- Enhance sexual desire (always nice to have as an aphrodisiac)
- Weight loss due to appetite suppressing effects.
How to use it.
So hopefully you see the importance of going to get a tan and using this wonderful peptide to make your tanning experience that much easier.
How do you use this wonder drug then? Nice and simple:
You will receive a vial with the peptide in powder form in it, it should look a little like this:

I like to mix mine with 2ml of Bac water (bacteriostatic water is a sterile form of water usually mixed with around 0.9% benzyl alcohol to prevent bacterial growth in the water making this a sterile mixture for injection).
You want to gently inject this water into the vial with the powder, make sure you very gently inject the water. Peptides are very fragile structures so you may degrade the peptide if you plunge the water directly on to the powder. I like to let the water out in drops that trickle down the sides of the vial . The way i do this is hold the vial at around a 45 degree angle and inject with barely any force, you will see the water trickle down the side of the vial).

also watch this guys video for further info.
This works just fine for me, however some people prefer to do it in different ways. I say as long as your peptide remains with the same integrity, then there is no harm. However I really think my way is the most easy!
Once you have reconstituted (mixed) your peptide with the water, you will have a solution with a dose of 500mcg per 0.1ml. I recommend starting at 250mcg per dose and gradually tapering up depending on your body's reaction.
Less really is more, this is a hell of a potent solution and will work wonders even for the most pale of you (i was literally Fitzpatrick skin type 1 and could pass as med now).
Make sure you take your dose every tanning day until you reach your desired tan, then you only need to tan 1 or 2 times weekly and only pinning on these days. This is not really an exact science. I find you should listen to your body, and also get an objective set of eyes to tell you when you should start maintaining the tan as it's easy to go overboard and not notice, I call this phenomenon tan blindness. You may well be brown, but you will appear pale to yourself still.
Tanning Routine
Even if you are in a high UV sunny climate you can apply the concepts here to tanning in real life, since I am unfortunately based in the UK and we get UV 3 at the peak of summer and think it is a heatwave, and I find tanning outdoors way more inconvenient and time consuming. I prefer to go to the sunbeds here. Typically a rule of thumb is that 10 minutes on a bed is equivalent to 1 or 2 hours in natural sun (if you do decide you would rather tan in natural sunlight)
With that said you are going to want to start with 7 minutes on the bed, then 8, then 9 etc… You want to keep adding to this amount of time progressively going for longer than last time. If you don’t burn, fantastic. However if you do then you know to go for less the next session and vice versa.
While in the tan building phase of the routine, try to go everyday, or every other day at the very least if you are hyper sensitive to UV and seem to not react well to daily tanning sessions.
And as discussed before, once you get to desired tan level it's time to maintain your golden glow, now you can go just once or twice a week for around 10 minutes a session ( I still recommend pinning around 250mcg before each session just so your tanning is more efficient)
And voila! You are now a more tanned version of yourself! Congratulations you already look better!
If you are using natural sunlight, still use the concept of progressive increases of tanning duration. Just remember the time should be 6-10x more than what we mentioned above for the sunbeds. Also don’t waste your time tanning when UV is low, check your weather app (most good ones will have UV readings) and make sure you get your tanning session in while the UV is high/ its highest. And remember to tan both front and back or you will have a weird looking tan (this is why I prefer sunbeds even if I were to live in the mediterranean as I dont have hours a day to go and tan front and back from noon til late afternoon, I would rather just lie down for 10 minutes and get both my front and my back then be done for the day, however that is my preference. You should choose whichever you can be most consistent with. As with everything, consistency is key here).
That is it for this thread, I hope this has been helpful, for those of you who would like to see my results you can see those below!
