"The results showed that the faces were rated as significantly more attractive when they were presented with a bowing motion than when they were presented in a stationary state. These findings suggest that dynamic greeting behaviors, such as bowing, can enhance the perceived attractiveness of a person's face. The psychological mechanism behind this effect appears to be the activation of traits related to politeness, respect, and approachability, which are implicitly associated with social and physical attractiveness."
