My answer: nope, not really. Bro ur mixing up two different things. classic TN (the "suicide disease" one you mentioned)
is most commonly associated with blood-vessel compression, and knocking on ur zygo cant cause that. what blunt trauma CAN cause is PTTN (actual damage to a trigeminal branch), so like constant burning, aching, numbness, tingling. diff diagnosis, diff profile. Iâm not aware of published case reports (lmk if there actually is) specifically linking bonesmashing to either, and all the PTTN data is from real trauma (e.g. fractures, crashes, surgery), so "bonesmashing gave me TN" is âunsupportedâ but "hard hits have zero nerve risk" is untrue too. The rates reported after significant facial trauma also canât be directly applied to low magnitude cyclic loading BS style.
Aight lets get back to your question: âcould u mess urself up doing BSâ, u wont get classic TN from tapping, thats very unlikely. But hard repeated impacts on the nerve exits (e.g. foramen(s) ) could irritate a nerve, so if u ever get numbness, tingling, or any sides literally just stop lol.
TLDR: TN from tapping (low magnitude cyclic loading) is very unlikely, PTTN from actual trauma is the real risk.
