Question Are roids fine for athletes?

I’m pretty athletic and love sports and play them competitively and when I train I do a lotta lower body stuff and explosive power work also with upper body hypertrophy and stuff and I’m sorta thinking about roids only cuz my upper body is utter shit and I wanna gain more muscle up there quickly and get my quads even bigger but will roids have an effect on my speed and explosiveness? Also what happens when you get of roids? I don’t know anything at all about roids, peptides, supplements, etc.

I just wanna make sure I don’t get slower and too big. For reference I’m 6 ft 2 and 160 lbs bulked from 128 and all my weights in my legs and I’m trying to get to 175-180 and no more than that.

don’t take roids if you do a lot of cardio in general (football, basketball etc)

For cardio do a ppar Beta and especially gamma agonist. This helps for cardio.
When you hop on e.g: 400mg test and 50mg anavar those pathways will help increase muscle fiber type 1( for cardio). Also they will help blood lipids( when on anavar). But only run cardarine when on anavar( like 8weeks). As it isn't recommended to run 54/1 as cancer risk has been shown in rodents
