As far as news goes, I imagine most of you don’t really consider much about it unless it directly effects your ability to get a bitch or sm.

However, I really think that a part of our duty as humans is to be up to date with global affairs and know what is going on in the world, not least so you can take action on opportunities, but also be in the know politically and can make reforms if you put yourself to it.

What I wanted to highlight today was the rising escalation in the Middle East, it has been confirmed that 2 US jets have been taken down over Iran. This probably spells a protracted war and escalation, id imagine the US now have some more justification to invade the groun, possible Kharg island or maybe even a full invasion.

This is the climate we live in, obviously for the most part it isn’t affecting us all apart from economically right now.

However this got me thinking, as a young man in this world, how pointless it would be to die for a war for some rich old men. It’s a tale as old as time, the young die and old men get richer.

It also has me thinking about why something like this should happen, for one we all have a pretty hard time anyway not least our lack of enjoyment with women. But the average lifestyle of the working man seems to have degraded a lot in the past 20-30 years.

We have less friends, less opportunity, less fun, less everything which should be our countries job to look after us for.

And yet we find ourselves potentially having worsened conditions or even worse killed for a pointless war for Israel.

I read that 13 Americans have died so far,

For what?

To end this post on a more somber note, here is a line from a song I like about the First World War and the pointlessness of the killing

And so now every April, I sit on me porch
And I watch the parades pass before me
And I see my old comrades, how proudly they march
Reviving old dreams of past glories
And the old men march slowly, old bones stiff and sore
They're tired old heroes from a forgotten war
And the young people ask, "what are they marching for?"
And I ask myself the same question
But the band plays Waltzing Matilda
And the old men still answer the call
But as year follows year, more old men disappear
Someday no one will march there at all”
